Nottingham Apology

Hi everyone. As some may have heard and many witnessed, I couldn't finish the show in Nottingham last night. This is the first time in 10 years on the road that this has happened. I wasn't 100% before the show, and was nearly persuaded to pull the show then, but thought that 500 people with tickets deserved my best efforts. Alas, my best efforts brought on mass violent puking, a fever and fainting. Today is not great either to be honest. Anyways, I hope people can understand my reasons for not coming back out, and we're looking at a make-up show in Nottingham as soon as possible. My deepest apologies, and thanks to everyone who came out, and to all the people wishing me well today.

Liverpool tomorrow is, to be honest, hanging in the balance. There is very little point in us driving up there if I can't do the show. I'm going to try my best though. More info here as soon as I have it.

Ugh. No fun.

I was there last night and everyone after was saying how amazin it was you'd done to play as much as you had, all things considered. It was brilliant until then! Hope you feel better soon and look forward to your return to nottingham.

In a decade of going to live shows I've seen bands pull out at the first sign of a sniffle. Frank, you got up on stage drenched in sweat and white as a sheet, I know it was Halloween and all but you really did look like a zombie. That you made it up at all is pretty damned amazing, and there's no need to apologise for passing out on us, you were rock and roll enough :)

Now get your ass well, back to Nottingham, and playing that new song again :)

Like others have said, I was amazed you lasted so long when you said you had food poisoning. A great show up to that point and can't wait for you to return, although please play the Rock City next time (if poss), because Rescue Rooms was just way too crammed. ;) Get well soon mate.

I don't think there is any need to apologise, under the circumstances. Top marks for carrying on when you're unwell, but given how you ill you obviously were / are, you definitely shouldn't have any worries about only managing half the set!

I was there and you couldnt tell anything was up until you went off stage, loved the show up to then, and kind of thought it was a far fetched bit of showmanship for a second! Heard you do Live Lounge today too - brilliant =, you can look forward to an inundation of new fans! Was just wondering when the make-up show was happening in Nottingham and what the deal is with tickets etc, Cheers, Oli
