Detroit Apology

Fuck, fuck, fuck, fuck, fucking fuck, fuck (have I broken your spam filter yet?) fuck. If there's one thing in this universe I fucking hate, that drives me to utter fucking despair, it's canceling shows. Alas, after a few days of feeling under the weather, last night's show in Cleveland was a really painful strain on me and my voice. I woke up this morning not feeling much better, and it's been decided that we're going to pull tonight's show at The Filmore in Detroit.

I want to apologize to everyone who had tickets to see me play, and to Flogging Molly and The Architects. I fucking suck. I think I have some kind of viral infection. Hopefully this way I can keep all the other shows in the diary on the books. I'll do my best to book a make-up show in Detroit over the summer. Sorry.

I live in Cleveland, show was sold out. Wanted to see you and only you. Needless to say I am very glad we decided to drive to Columbus on Thursday and not Detroit. Missed half of your set but still worth it! Boo! Love you! Seriously! Get better! Everyone needs to be exposed to your talent! Wish going to the Uk wasn't so expensive!

I think I almost spit up coffee when I saw you were scheduled to play Macs in lansing which is only 20 minutes from my house. We've had Green 17 tickets for months and couldn't wait to see you play at a Flogging Molly show. We were going to see 2 Frank Turner shows in 2 days! FUCK YEAH!!!! Fucking viruses try to fucking ruin everything, fucking jerks. I hope you feel better and are able to play Macs tonight. FUCK Viruses! Go behind the garage and shit your pants it will make you feel better. Get well and Rock On!

Frank, I feel even luckier now for getting to see you in Cleveland. My third straight year for the Green 17 Tour and not only have I grown to count on FM for playing a spectacular show but also for introducing me to phenomenal artists I hadn't been aware of prior, (Mighty Stef, Dusty Rhodes and the River Band, and of course now you). Been listening to you all weekend now, and I hope you get better and come back to Cleveland soon as a headliner, We'd love to see you again and hear a full set.

your health is more important. I would agree, its a huge disappointment but your body needs rest, and thats what its telling you! Your fans will understand! Just keep making your music, that is all that matters, its what makes you, you and what makes us (your fans)... <3 the fuck out of you!

feel better!

What A sincere apology. I had the GREAT privileged of seeing you perform last night at the Vogue in Indy, and I have to say- you blew my mind. You play with incredible sincerity and heart, and I saw it. I really was bummed to not have enough cash on hand to pick up one of your albums at the show, but know that I will be picking up one (or more) tonight on ITunes.

You, sir, are the real deal- and I love it.

Sorry you were feeling bad on Saturday! I was able to see you at Bogarts in Cinci last night, and you sounded great! I couldn't even tell you had been sick!

Good show man! Keep up the good work, and I hope to see you again!

Caught the Indy show, and had never heard of you prior. Bought both CDs, and am already addicted. "Try this at home" is my current favorite. Head back to Indy soon, we'll definitely be watching for you!!
