Neutral Ground
I write from a dressing room in Zurich, Switzerland, which means, logically speaking, that the UK tour is done (or at least if it isn't, I need to get to the airport, and fast... uh, what?). It was the biggest run of headline shows I've ever done, and it was an amazing experience. We took our own light-show with us, which Nigel had been working on for ages, and it was spectacular. The shows were awesome, in particular the Roundhouse, a night I won't forget. So, a big thanks to everyone - the band, the crew (especially Jamie, Sad, Shaun and Johnny for working their arses off), Chuck Ragan and Crazy Arm, and of course, all of you lot. We're putting the finishing touches to another UK run in December, and should be getting the whole thing announced as soon as possible.
Now we're in Europe, which I'm looking forward to, if the tour here last December is anything to go by. More crazy nights in Germany? Count me in. After that we hit the West Coast of the USA for shows in San Francisco, Vancouver, and Coachella Festival, before I fly out to Australia for the Revival Tour. Thence I head to New Zealand for the first time, and onwards to Hong Kong and China for some really far-out shows. Finally, a short run in Ireland, and then it's festival season. Can you tell I'm a workaholic?
Speaking of festivals, I'm very, very pleased to say I can publicly confirm that I'll be playing at Latitude Festival on July 17th. I played the first year there, back in 2006, but this time I'm returning for a slot on the main stage, with my full band. See you there.
That show will, of course, be the day after my headline slot at 2000 Trees Festival. Many people know that it's a show I have a lot of good history with, so naturally I'm looking forward to it. I'm also very pleased with the line-up this year (the guys at the fest let me have some input into it, which was nice). We've got Crazy Arm, Jim Lockey, The Dawn Chorus, Chris T-T, The Tailors and many more - so basically I'm going to be wandering around with a huge grin on my face all day. See you there!

What happened to Eastern Europe? I mean, come on, we seriously need some of that folk ranting of yours around here. What would be the first steps that I, as a Polish citizen, can take in order to get your as here, in Krakow, drinking and singing in one of our venues in the old Jewish district?
Frank - you're a great singer and I love listening to your music. But sometimes I find this difficult considering how fuckable you are!
Lovely! I hope to see you soon in Finland again! -xoxo
I cannot wait to see you in San Francisco!
Why don't you came to Italy??? Just ONE TIME!!!
Wtf.
what about america's east coasttt?
The Portsmouth gig on Tuesday was incredible, Faithful Son was a nice surprise, and I'm very grateful for being introduced to Chuck Ragan. Well done to Nigel as well, the lights were fucking amazing, especially in Prufrock and Poetry of the Deed.
I THOUGHT the lights were better on this UK tour, I remember thinking, "Crikey, the lighting guy must be a big FT fan". Well done Nigel, it looked ace.
I'm not going to be like, "oh what about ___ come here"
Dude, how do you even keep a sane head traveling like this. It's crazy. But it's still awesome. I hope to see you sometime again in the future.
I came to the roundhouse on wednesday, enjoyed seeing who the real dan was! hope to see you at reading this year and when you return for another UK tour ! peace
Roundhouse show was truely awesome. 3,000 strangers but somehow felt like a little group of old friends. Start to finish, every second was amazing.
Fingers crossed on a Reading announcement tomorrow!
Please please please return to Cardiff or Bristol again. Both gigs were out of this world and I'll definitely be there in December wherever.
We need you in Poland, Frank!

I'm looking forward to your concert in Wiesbaden. I'm a big fan of Million Dead and i was in London for your last MD gig. We talked briefly there. It was my best concert ever. I hope you'll play a few songs of MD in Wiesbaden.

Hey Frank, I saw you at the Round House and it was an amazing gig. You've really developed since you supported Reuben at the Underworld and since you played your demo at the Peel in Kingston and I'm still annoyed that I was late for the Vital Signs video at the Fighting Cocks. Hope to see you play smaller venues every once and a while though.
My friend told me about Round House. He said it was an awesome performance and you rocked the house.
