Pittsburgh Sickbay
Ah, being ill on tour, my favourite fucking thing in the world. I'm in Pittsburgh right now, played an awesome house show last night, but it seems like I've got a fever of some kind. I guess the upside is that crazy dreams and feverish imaginings have helped me break through some logjams on lyrics for new songs, haha. Ah well. Today we hit Ohio. Tomorrow I get to say "Hello Cleveland" with a straight face to a couple of thousand people. Sweet.
A great bit of news for you. I can confirm that I will be headlining Wood Festival this year, on Sunday 23rd May. It's a great little folk festival, run by the people behind Truck. You can get tickets here. It;ll be a solo show. This is my first ever festival headline appearance, and I'm pleased as punch. See you there.

Don't worry. I will make you soup and have your babies. You just focus on the music :)
Nice. Wood's a long way from Newcastle, but it's a stunning little festiva,. Can't wait!
Y not fest please!
So, I saw you on the Green 17 Tour at the Tabernacle in Atlanta, and became an instant fan. If you have the chance to do a solo show on this is of the pond, it would be an honor to see you perform again... maybe a little south of the ATL in a little town called Columbus, Georgia. Just a suggestion. Glad the lucid dreaming is bringing poetic thought. You rock!
Yeah! :) Please Make Y Not the second festival headliner. Would be mint.
I bame Asbury Park for the illness. I've been sick since that show at the Lanes. It's the first time I had to take off 3 days of work due to being sick!
Get better, dude! Fever-induced lyrics sound trippy as all hell... I'm predicting a psychedelic FT album in 2010.
Poor Frank, get well soon!
If you love that kind of small festivals where are only small but enthuastic crowd, then Finland is your kind of place to come in the summer: the land of strange festivals but warmhearted people.
Vitamin c, love how you say that and plenty of liquids. Take care.
Get better soon Frank!
Well, sick or not it was a good show in Columbus tonight, I will likely buy your albums but am a bit disappointed in the sarcastic comment about Cleveland... It's a good music town, give them (haven't lived there for awhile so I can't say us anymore)... You are welcome to come back to Ohio anytime.
Hey anonymous, didn't mention Cleveland tonight onstage...? Have never been, so I'm excited about going tomorrow.
feel better frank!
Go back to Winchester. Mummy and daddy will take care of you...

Hey anonymous, I believe the Hello Cleveland remark wasn't a crack against the city, Mr. Turner was referring to the movie Spinal Tap. He said on stage He'd been waiting his whole life to say it. ROCK N ROLL!
Mummy and Daddy have sent you some Lemsip. Your record company have picked up the tab.
You were in Pittsburgh and I missed it? Sonofabitch.
